James Arthur一向以他善用詮釋情緒的歌聲以及渾厚卻多變的嗓音聞名，代表作Say you won’t let go 一曲感動了多少人不在話下，名氣僅次於此曲的 Naked 更我最喜歡的英文歌之一。James有著坎坷的童年生活，並長年與心理疾病對抗，這或許是他歌聲總是充滿飽滿情緒的原因。他靠著音樂詮釋所有不堪和痛苦，至今闖遍音樂界，帶給聽眾無法言喻的感動。

Just us 是一首關於告解的歌。在追求愛與被愛追求的過程裡，「傷害」是無法避免的事情，然而在關係裡偶爾迷失、做錯決定、對愛人造成難以彌補的傷害，都不會讓人失去誠實面對感情、面對自己的機會。

我想，再多的包裝和謊言都遠比不上一句從心出發的「我愛你」或者「對不起」。希望這首歌能賦予你們一點點誠實面對愛與自己的勇氣，就讓我們跟隨James一起告解吧～ （原文撰於2023/10/19）
