Sleepwalking是本張專輯（Bitter Sweet Love 將於2024/1/26發行）裡繼Just us讓我感動不已的歌曲。這首歌以木吉他做為主要基底，除了視聽感受乾淨而俐落以外，也更能凸顯James的歌聲特色以及情緒的鋪成。
另外，這首歌的pre-chorus（導歌/前副歌）出現在第一及第三段副歌前，相較於一般將pre-chorus置於前兩段副歌的模式，是很特殊的編排方式。第二次的pre-chorus也類似於Bridge的功能，帶來強烈的情緒轉折。

深怕限制了你們對這首歌的想像空間，所以這次特別把我對這首歌的解讀放在最下面。
在Sleepwalking這首歌裡雖然沒有直接提到心理疾病，但歌詞對「悲傷」、「恐慌」和「孤獨」的詮釋仍可看出講述者內心的對憂鬱的恐懼以及對陪伴的渴望；夢遊是一種睡眠障礙，需透過精神科治療，而我認為夢遊症狀在此代表著「心理疾病」，歌詞”Since we lost it, I’m sleepwalking. ”即蘊含著「失去你以後，我跌到了更深的谷底。」之意。
Sleepwalking對我而言又是James Arthur創作出能陪著我沉淪在永無止境的悲傷裡的一首歌，很難不期待接下來將釋出的每一首歌曲。 （原文撰於2023/12/19）
